Marina Sea Salt is an innovative salt supplier in South Africa and is one of the leading salt suppliers in Southern African, we supply products of the highest standard which not only offers excellent quality, but also value for money.  Four decades ago the founding father of Marina Sea Salt, Gert Schoombee, started this very successful family business which has become synonymous with quality in the local salt industry. Since our humble beginnings, our Orange Bottle Braai Salt can now be found in all parts of the world. His legacy continues and with the right combination of sun, wind and time, we produce 100% natural Sea Salt.

Marina Sea Salt has grown from a small family business to become a leading national salt supplier in Southern Africa. Our saltpans have a long history dating back to the late 1700’s where the local inhabitants already gathered salt in these naturally formed salt pans’ believed to be amongst the first salt pans in South Africa. Marina Sea Salt is still cultivating salt from these very same salt pans.
