How to Use Pool Salt
Marina Pool Salt is suitable for use in salt chlorinator systems, where the salt is converted into chlorine to help keep pool water clean and sanitised.
Adding pool salt
Add the required amount of salt directly to the pool water — not through the skimmer — and run the pump to allow it to dissolve and circulate evenly. Salt typically dissolves within 24 hours.
Maintaining salt levels
Salt does not evaporate, but levels may decrease due to rain, splash-out, backwashing or topping up with fresh water. Check salt levels regularly and top up when needed.
